Harriet and M15 work as a perfect force to form a solid bond and foundation for another generation of offspring. Their dedication to providing for the needs of each other and their family is awe-inspiring.
Harriet and M15 welcomed E19 into their world on Monday, December 27th, 2021. E19 toiled throughout the day and night to break free after the first pip (crack in the egg) had been seen on Sunday. Dad was on the nest and eggs when E19 emerged, but he wouldn’t move to give a good view of the new baby. Dad takes parenting eagerly and seriously. He seemed excited at the welcomed sight of E19. Mom flew to the treetop, vocalizing. Dad stepped off the nest bole to give her and the world a beautiful view of the little miracle.
Harriet and M15 have done their job well now that Egg 2 has a pip, hopefully hatching in a day or so. Mom and Dad delayed incubating Egg 1 for a close hatch time with Egg 2. M15 will soon fill the pantry with nutritious food for the new arrivals. Mom and Dad’s exceptional care will assure their treasures a place in the Eagle Universe. Nest Notes by dadsjazz
