M15 and F23 impart the best of their abilities to E23, who readily absorbs them all. E23 experiences many situations, masters milestones, and gains skill and confidence. E23 has been free-flying for just over two weeks and has roamed the bounds of the territory. E23 has imprinted well by watching Dad and Momma and storing all the lessons to carry along the way.
E23’s accomplishments include flying with strength and purpose to evade the bothersome birds. E23 skimmed over the ducks on the pond either in hunting mode or protecting the territory mode. E23 has keen eyesight and is attentive to all movement in the area. E23 watches for incoming food and anticipates where the drop will be. E23 claimed M15’s deliveries to the ground and flew with the prey to the nest. E23 foraged on the ground and found items lost in flight. E23 guards their “catch” with fierceness, snapping at Dad or Momma, trying to steal E23’s meal.
E23 spied the approaching owl one night and flew off the treetop to escape its strike. E23 warned away intruders when two juvenile Eagles flew to the nest tree. E23 vocalized and took a defensive stance as one landed on a nearby branch. M15 and F23 flew in to save the day and chase the offenders away. E23 watched and took it all in.
