wskrsnwings - Harriet & M15 perched in the nest tree overnight before dropping to the nest to check it out and rearrange and aerate some. Harriet flew out to grab a stick or maybe a bird but returned to the west pasture snag by N2 (nest 2) empty taloned. M15 flew to N2 to check it out while Harriet watched him from above. While they were over there both added a stick to N2 before flying through the tree line and out of my sight. H & M have taken sticks to N2 for the past few seasons in the fall when they are rebuilding the original nest but have always chosen the original nest to lay eggs in. Remember eagles are compulsive nest builders and it is not unusual for them to have more than one nest built in their territory. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
