wskrsnwings - As I was watching the E's this morning, each perching above one of H & M's nests, I thought about how E15 last season thought the nest was his/hers. And to see E18 perching above the natal nest and E17 perching above the unused Nest 2, it brought a smile to my face. The E's seeing any nest as the possibility for food was imprinted on them from Day 1. No food was delivered while I was there today (two fish deliveries by M15 an hour or so later). The E's perched together in the CSPS for a short time but mostly they watched the territory from their perches above the nests and warned away the dive bombing smaller birds. And a Red-headed Woodpecker visited the fallen strangler fig. The E's are 100 days old today! Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
