wskrsnwings - Harriet & M15 were not seen during my morning visit. This is not unusual as I rarely "catch" them at home late June through July. But I always continue to visit every 7-10 days during the summer. Mother Nature's FL rainy season is greening up the pastures and and filling the ponds once again. The farm staff were mowing the nest tree pasture while I was there. An opportunistic Cattle Egret walked right along with the mower, grabbing up bugs non stop. A Crow was eating a meal of lizard on a pasture snag while a Loggerhead Shrike vocalized from the nearby strangler fig. A Great White Egret visited the pasture pond, a Great Blue Heron flew over the nest tree to a nearby retention pond and a Red-bellied Woodpecker pecked away on a snag looking for bugs. This is summertime in the nest area. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
