wskrsnwings - M15 acted and looked fine as ever (following the owl strike overnight) as he and Harriet greeted the morning. Harriet flew to the power poles before sunrise and M15 took over incubating the eggs. When Harriet returned to the nest tree, they exchanged vocals before M15 flew from the pasture. H saw M returning with a rabbit and another eagle was following him; Harriet flew toward the eagle and warned it away. M ate the rabbit on the CSPS (church side pond snag) while H vocalized as she incubated the eggs. I think H was saying "you can have the food this time because you were a great protector last night". When M finished the prey, he took a bath in the pond and then flew to the church tree to dry out. All well deserved, M15!
