SWFL Eagles ~ M15 Is On Incubation Duty! Beautiful Closeups Of Egg #1 ?? 11.21.21

Lady Hawk - M15 is enjoying his time incubation his egg! He gets up to take a break and we have some great views of egg #1 showing some really good identification marks/stains on one side of the egg, Harriet arrives back to the nest and M flies in with more grasses! He spreads the soft nesting material partially covering the egg before he resumes incubation. He will join Harriet on the outer attic and we have another view and closeups of the egg. M comes back down and rolls the egg, aerates around it and then incubates. M will keep himself occupied by moving the grasses around him and he will find that big clump of nesting material and begin to work on pulling it apart at 10:55 :) He will get up and work on the left side rails and then come back to incubate his egg. M will take another quick break and we have more views of egg #1 before he returns with a stick! He places it at the front rails and then resumes his incubation duties which he really is happy to be performing now! Both Harriet and M are delaying incubation with their first egg so that the development of the embryo will be delayed. Eagles sometimes delay incubation in order for the eggs to hatch closer together which will help with less sibling rivalry of the eaglets. They will fully incubate when Harriet lays her second egg. Thank you for watching! Video captured & edited by Lady Hawk Thank you SWFEC , hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for allowing us the opportunity to view these amazing eagles.
