wskrsnwings - I did not know a GHO (great horned owl) hit H at 5:49am. (I was driving there at that time.) So no reference to it is made in my video. But as you will see in today's footage, Harriet appeared fine. Both she and M15 continued to be on alert for any intruder while I was visiting today. M perched in a pasture snag, Norfolk pine and a front west pasture snag, watchful of the area before flying NW out of sight. Harriet remained incubating and vocalized alerts at the neighbor eagles and also M15 as he flew from north to south along the west pasture tree line. M15 returned to incubate bringing grasses. Harriet perched above the nest, hopping branches, vocalizing and watching the area before flying east out of sight. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
