wskrsnwings - Harriet & M15 were perched in the nest tree pasture when I arrived before daylight; Harriet was perched in the nest tree, top perch and M15 was perched in the OCT (old cam tree). Later M15 flew to N2 (nest 2) in the west pasture and started rearranging sticks there. Harriet soon flew there too but only stayed in the nest briefly, hopping to a nearby branch after M15 started nibbling at her tail. The smaller birds (loggerhead shrikes, mockingbirds and blue jays) pestered H & M but both ignored them. M15 flew to the west pasture ground, grabbed a stick and returned to N2 with it. M15 flew SW at 7:00am and Harriet flew to a pine tree across the road at 7:10am. They both looked good and no other eagles were seen in the area. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
