wskrsnwings - During the summer months, it is always hit-and-miss as far as seeing Harriet and M15. It is our hottest time of year and this is the adults heavy molting period. They seek shade and quiet the majority of the days. I did not see them today but the nest area looks good and our daily rains are replenishing the ponds and beautifying the landscape. The horses are enjoying grazing on the new green growth in the pastures. And you can also see that beauty in the now flowering red Poinciana tree at the end of the video with a Red-winged Blackbird singing nearby. There was a Snowy Egret by the drainage area behind the shopping center (M15’s favorite place to find armored catfish). The birds seen in the nest tree pasture were Loggerhead Shrikes, a Mourning Dove, Red-bellied Woodpecker and Northern Mockingbird. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
