Lady Hawk - Last night Harriet came to the nest after dark and laid down in the bowl for several hours prompting viewers to watch with excitement that she might be getting ready to lay another egg. She was on the nest for 5 hours before joining M on the attic. Today she tested out laying in the nest bowl in the late afternoon again. She went to the attic and M flew in with a headless fish for her. She dropped down and claimed her food gift and ate it quickly. As dusk came, Harriet flew back to the nest and laid down again. Tonight is the super snow moon and we have some wonderful coverage of it! It is so bright that Harriet is illuminated on the nest! This behavior of laying in the nest coupled with all the matings, fervent nest building with sticks and grasses being brought in and M bringing in food for her are all signs that Harriet wants to re-clutch. Will she? Only Harriet knows for sure so stayed tuned! Thank you for watching!
