wskrsnwings - When I arrived at the nest this morning at 6am, Harriet was perched quietly on a branch above the nest, preening and watchful of the area. She only vocalized once before she flew across the road to perch in a nearby pine tree. M15 was not seen this am. After several days of clouds and rain, this morning was much nicer with a moonlit dawn and a pretty sunrise. The pasture is completely mowed now and we can see the pylons at the pasture pond once again from our viewing area. The smaller birds and the horses were enjoying the the pasture this morning too. Harriet flew down into the tree line and out of sight just before 8am. I hope to see one or both of the adults the next time I visit the nest area. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
