E4 was in wing flapping and fly hopping mode early on the cool morning. E4’s performed fancy footwork on the porch branch by changing position, hovering and standing on one leg. E4 joined Mom on the porch and had a near miss while taking the leap. Harriet had “Mom time” as she bathed in the pond today.
Ozzie’s meal deliveries were again of the mystery type, a few looked very unusual and a few were squirrels. E4 observed Ozzie de-furred one of the food items. One delivery was a plain fish that E4 seemed to have mastered eating. High hovering and branch hopping were done with ease today. Mom was again demonstrating her technique as she moved from branch to branch in the nest tree. E4’s is honing all the necessary skills for survival.
