swfec nest notes: first week of eagle life for e24 and e25

M15, F23, E24, and E25 have settled in as an Eagle Family. E24 and E25 have been showered with excellent nurturing by Dad and Momma. They have been fed well, protected from the elements, and kept secure in the first week of Eagle life.

M15 and F23 brought fish and prey to keep their growing babies happy and healthy. In return, E24 and E25 have been satisfied and relatively calm, with little competition for food. E24 reminds E25 who is first in the pecking order with a bop or two. E25 is a feisty little one who lies low for a minute and then steps back up at mealtime. The nice weather allows open space for E24 and E25 to begin observing their surroundings. Both have climbed out of the nest bole to seek shade or reach for food.

M15 and F23 quickly deal with any intrusions into their territory. Their priority is to protect the new lives in their charge. E24 and E25 are learning the ins and outs of daily life. They eat, sleep, and grow under the quality care of Dad and Momma. Nest Notes by dadsjazz.
