Harriet and M15 have worked in harmony over the months to prepare their nest and present their precious Eggs. The time is close for the little miracles to emerge into the world as the circle of Eagle life continues.
Harriet and M15 adapt to whatever comes their way. This Season has its twists now that a family of Owls has taken over the alternate nest in the West pasture. The unfolding story will be interesting as they all rear their young. They will strive to protect their families using their instincts and skills. The Crows, Mockingbirds, and smaller birds harass the owls during the day.
The stealthy Owls are active and hunt when all others are sleeping. Harriet and M15 are especially alert now that the Owls make their presence known by swooping the nest tree at night. A slithering snake paid a visit in the dark and was swiftly disposed of by Mom. All the families will defend the territory they perceive as theirs.
Harriet and M15 will ensure success in the next part of their journey as their work will increase two-fold. Soon their bobbling babies arrive. The Eagle universe will rejoice with the new additions. Nest Notes by dadsjazz.
