Moments in Time- Nest Notes, Photos & Videos for Feb. 4

As the Eagle family adjusts to daily life since the passing on of precious E3, Ozzie and Harriet hunted, stood guard and brought nest materials for their sweet and growing E4. E4’s day consisted of busying himself waiting for meal time and watching the outside world go by. Dad spent time with E4 counting the passing cars as E4 did many times with E3. All attention is focused on E4’s growth and protection.

Mom and Dad each delivered fresh fish and E4 ate to his heart’s content. E4 is growing strong and is practicing wing flapping and standing and walking tall. It appears that Eagles live in the moment, not lamenting the past and not projecting the future. Their survival depends on it. Human nature can learn valuable lessons from Eagle nature.
