Harriet and M15 while away the hours they spend on the nest incubating their cherished Eggs. They fluff up the nesting, roll the Eggs carefully and watch the skies over the territory. Their complete focus is on caring for the miracles developing beneath them. Their selfless dedication is profound and admirable as they attend to their charges as well as each other.
Harriet and M15 function perfectly in their efforts. They take time away from their duties to bathe, hunt for a meal, and perch in a shady place. M15 arrives for his turn at incubating at times with food for Harriet. They bring grass and sticks for continuous nest additions and possible interruption of the other’s nest time. The tender coaxing of each other to take over Egg-tending with a peck or soft vocal is endearing.
Harriet and M15 are patient and thorough as they keep their growing treasures warm and secure. They will devote the next several weeks to the magical process of presenting two hearty and robust Eaglets to the world. Nest Notes by dadsjazz
