SWFEC Nest Notes: The Exceptional Explorers

image

E19 and E20 are fantastic flyers as they take off in the early morning on flights to new destinations. They frolicked in the West pasture trees and Nest 2 there. They laze in the shade of the pond trees on warm afternoons. They expand their horizons as they soar higher and farther in the territory. In the evenings, E19 and E20 retreat to the familiarity of the nest tree after a long day of adventures.

E19 and E20 become more confident in all aspects of their lives. Harriet and M15 make themselves scarce during the day, possibly encouraging E19 and E20 to search for a meal in places other than the nest. Their quests through the day may be to find Mom, Dad, or others enjoying their catches. E19 and E20 keep each other in their sights in case one finds something to eat. If they spot Mom or Dad flying in with food, they immediately ready themselves for the clash. E19 and E20 are learning hunting skills and are sly and forceful in getting their share of the prey.

Harriet and M15 have excelled in educating E19 and E20 in all the elements of Eagle life. They will continue to nourish and teach exceptional E19 and E20 until they decide they are ready for the ultimate challenge to explore life on their own as young Raptors. Nest Notes by dadsjazz.
