Harriet and M15 continued their “nestorations” through the week showing their impressive skills. Early mornings find them performing amazing aerial stick grabs, returning to the nest with their “catches.” Harriet has done her fair share of nest building while giving orders to M15 on material placement. Weekly Nest Notes- Oct. 8th- A New Season Begins!

Harriet and M15 are working to ready their nest for a new generation of offspring. Time off allowed them to renew themselves and restore energy for their grand endeavor. Harriet stopped by for an occasional visit to her beloved nest and territory throughout the summer months. The nest and tree held fast over the break. M15 is honored on Father’s Day as the loyal mate to Harriet and dedicated Dad to their offspring.  As a young male Eagle, M15 made a grand entrance into Harriet’s life in her time of need, endeared himself to her and won the right to be her mate. Nesting Seasons each unfold in unique ways. There have been many successful outcomes and many that were faced with challenges. Weekly Nest Notes: Success on the Hunt

E12 and E13 have an impressive list of accomplishments and continue honing their instincts and practicing lessons learned. E12 and E13 have been observing Mom and Dad over the months taking in all the valuable lessons and putting them into play. Mom reminded E13 to not give up on the food when she went to the nest to finish a meal that Dad delivered. E13 immediately returned to nest to engage in a tug-0-war winning the prize.
