E12 and E13 earn top marks as they surpass many milestones. They are stunning, dark feathered Beauties and are nearly the size of Mom and Dad. They are feeling the breezes flapping and hopping away with gloriously expanding wings, growing stronger and more confident. Weekly Nest Notes: The Path to Eagle Life

E12 and E13 are looking more like Juvenile Eaglets than the tiny hatchlings they were a short time ago.  Their beautiful dark feathers seem to have burst through overnight with only a few tufts of their natal down remaining. They displayed their magnificent wings feeling the breezes while flapping away with wings almost reaching the expanse of the nest. Weekly Nest Notes: A Tale of Two Eaglets

Harriet and M15 guide and take excellent care of their two flourishing Eaglets. During their 30 days of rapid growth, E12 and E13 seem to change in appearance minute by minute. Their darker thermal feathers are pushing out the light natal down giving them fluffy cotton top headdresses. Weekly Nest Notes: Watch Us Grow

E12 and E13’s development is on the  fast track as they grow bigger and stronger right before our eyes.  They are adding about 5 ounces of weight each day and are at least a foot tall. Weekly Nest Notes: Growing by Leaps & Bounds

E12 and E13 are experiencing a tremendous growth spurt and seem to change in appearance from morning to night. At hatch, they weighed about 3 ounces and were around 3 inches tall and in a few short weeks, they are nearly 2 pounds and almost one foot tall. Weekly Nest Notes: Life as a Family of 4

Harriet and M15 welcomed their precious Eaglets, E12 and E13 last week and all are adjusting nicely as an Eagle Family. E12 and E13 are active and healthy Eaglets and are quickly making their presence known in the family dynamics. These feisty baby raptors are evenly matched as they battle for first in line at feeding time. Special Hatch Edition Nest Notes: Welcome E12 & E13

Harriet & M welcomed two beautiful new additions to their family. In the warm bright sunshine, E12 finally hatched from Egg#1 on December 23, 2018, at 11:26 am. Harriet and M15 possess impressive instincts that drive them to the fulfillment of their mission to procreate.  Over the months, they have worked as an exceptional team in the care and protection of their precious Eggs, their territory and each other. Weekly Nest Notes: Perfect Timing is Everything

Harriet and M15 execute perfectly timed exchanges almost like a dance as one leaves the nest and the other arrives. They have become an efficient incubating team.
